Wonderful Wednesday with My Purple World, Oh My Heartsie Girls and Friends

February is almost over and  I am again embarking on a new journey and learning experience as I join the national leadership training here in Jakarta. We have this blended learning method, as the classical way offline classes was introduced, of course with the strict health protocol. Well, I have to admit I was excited but at the same time was cautious as well. Good thing that we have to check things out and with the antigen being conducted to each and everyone of us. Without this, we are not allowed to join the class. And looking at the agenda, I think we will be super busy studying and learning more, while at the same time expanding our network. Again, wish me luck!

On the other side, I have been visiting Lampung on our break. The four of us once again visit our beloved hometown and this time, we came back to Kota Agung, the city in Tanggamus regent where my hubby's family is originally from. Sadly, one of our older relatives passed away and we went there for his burial with health protocol. At one point, it is good to touch base with the big family from my hubby's side but then again is sad to see Datuk Loh, the last line from my hubby's grandma, passed away. Innalillahi wainnalillah rojiuun. Rest in peace, Datuk. 

Well, life is indeed so full of surprises and we just need to embrace all those changes.

Wonderful Wednesday with my Purple World, Oh My Heartsie Girls and Friends

Hi everyone... how's the second week of January treating you?

The whole nation is mourning due to the tragic incident of Sriwijaya Air SJ 182 in the Thousand Islands area near Jakarta. 62 crews and passengers perished in this accident. The evacuation is still undergoing now and the FDR or the black box has been recovered. May all the deceased rest in peace... Innalillahi wainaillaihi rojiuun.

Work wise, we continue with the program in my department. There are so many adjustment as we have restructuring of budget due to the process of vaccination across the country. National health security is indeed the top priority and the state's budget as well as policies will focus on that. Our Minister has officially released the annual press statement outline all the achievements in 2020 as well as our priorities in 2021. Well, we all need to focus on the safety of the people and measures to handle the damaging impacts of the pandemic to the societies, be it in the economic sector and others. Now that the vaccines are available, hope we can manage the pandemic better!

Jakarta and Indonesia in general is entering the rainy season now. We do have a few disasters in some areas but hopefully it won't be too many. During this time, we have to be extremely careful with our health. Hopefully all of us can stay safe and healthy, wherever we are.

Wonderful Wednesday with My Purple World, Oh My Heartsie Girls and Friends

Hi everyone.. 

 Happy Thanksgiving to all my family and friends in the US. I still remember vividly how lovely the ambience is, where get-together and family time are the main agenda. Well the pandemic will certainly make things different but I sincerely hope the spirit remains the same. and the holiday spirit will certainly linger as December is soon coming. I have seen many Christmas decorations in hotels and public places as the holiday season is just around the corner. I sincerely hope the pandemic will not dampen the spirit, although we still have to be extremely careful and observe the health protocol at all times!

Speaking of the end of the year, we are working extra hard to finish things up. Due to the pandemic, we have many activities and events being canceled, postponed or pushed back. My team and I are working hand in hand to finish them all. It takes all the coordination, time management, and endless virtual meetings to finish many of them. Of course we have some break but even during the break we are already bombarded with the next task.

With all these never ending work, I have no better option than manage my time effectively and delegate the works efficiently with my team. I spend so much time with them to ensure we all are right on track.

The perk is we get to visit various places and hotels for the works of the Working Group. Some of them are super comfy with 5-star facilities and wonderful food and  for sure, I appreciate the attention given to the team.

At home, kids are starting to have their tests again. The end of the year break is soon starting and we will have long break heading to New Year. Oh my.. 2021 is just days! Never stop praying for a better, healthier and happier year indeed. Let's see what's in store for us!.

Oh ya, I found more 'treasures from one of my big luggages (and boxes) from NYC. This time, I love the Sephora Collection lip samplers. They are cute!
