WW: Seroja Cafe and Indonesian Restaurant in Wellington

Missing food from home is no longer a problem for me and The Frakarsas.

We have Seroja Cafe and Indonesian Restaurant in Wellington !

Located at the posh corner of the city of Wellington, the Waterfront area, Seroja Cafe is indeed a lovely place to enjoy Indonesian signature dishes, like rendang, bebek and ayam kremes, nasi goreng, batagor, tempe mendoan, ikan bakar or grilled fish and more.

Here are some food we managed to try while visiting this lovely place.

The cafe is located at Clyde Quay Wharf Accessway East, Te Aro, Wellington 6011 and you can definitely check more info and delicious menu at www.serojacafe.nz

Wonderful Wednesday with My Purple World, Oh My Heartsie Girls and Friends

Back to Bali and I am sooo thrilled!

I can never say no whenever a trip to Bali is on the table. This time, I stay for about 6 days for 4 different back - to - back meetings. I know that it's going to be tough, demanding and for sure tiring, but hey, Bali and its wonderful perks are just waiting around the corner! So here's to meetings, drafting, and enjoying the land of the Gods and Goddesses.

the beauty of Bali

We are lucky enough that most of the meetings finish at around 5 PM so that we have time to enjoy dinner in various places, especially those cute cafes and interesting places like spa and shops in Canggu and Seminyak. I have been visiting 5 so far during this trip, surely with health protocol being observed. I have Como Beach Club, Santorini, Bodyworks, Seminyak Village, Tepi Sungai and more. I can't wait to explore more. There is so much that Bali can offer and as everything is improving, the international passengers are be able to visit Bali again. I sincerely hope that this will bring all the benefits to the local people who have been suffering a lot from COVID - 19 since early 2020. Cheers to Bali and all of us as well.

WW: Happy Batik Day 2021

Happy Batik Day, everyone.

Happy Batik Day
Happy Batik Day from indah nuria

Selamat Hari Batik

October 2nd has been declared as Batik day, since Batik, one of Indonesia's most celebrated traditional heritage, is recognized by UNESCO as a Masterpiece of Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity back in 2009. Since then, people's attention to Batik, be it from fellow Indonesians as well as foreigners, is exponentially increasing.

I myself has been a big fan and collector of Batik as well as other wastra nusantara since the last 15 years. I was so lucky that my mom and my grand parents collected them as well so I do have some ancient and rare collection of these precious fabrics.

Cintai karya bangsa yang luar biasa ini ♥️♥️♥️♥️

To me, Batik is a perfect example of the labour of love reflecting the vibrant cultures, undying creativity and flaming passion.

Ada warna - warni asa di dalamnya, yang sarat filosofi dan makna hidup.

Cinta INDONESIA, cinta BATIK ðŸ‡®ðŸ‡©♥️🇮🇩..

Nothing else to say but I am super proud to wear BATIK wherever I go.

It’s surely an incredible work of art, tangled with love, exquisite taste, everlasting colors, generation-to-generation wisdom and meaningful patterns, which teach you the deep-rooted lessons of life. Aaah.. who wouldn’t love and proud to wear Batik 💜

Here you will see many occasions when I, alone or together with bosses, friends & family, are so proud wearing my batik 🥰.

WW: More Underwater Beauty of Tanjung Putus Lampung, Indonesia

More Underwater Beauty of Tanjung Putus Lampung, Indonesia

The month of June is when we celebrate the World Ocean Day.

I know that it is celebrated on June 8, but to me, with the mounting problems we face in the ocean, due to the long lists of irresponsible damages done by us humans as well as other related factors such as climate change, we really have to pay closer attention to our oceans.

Please, let's ask ourselves what we can do to keep our oceans clean and healthy. I know you know what we can do about it, like reduce the use of plastic, stop littering the ocean, be mindful with your sports and tourism activities, pick up the trashes on the beach and at the ocean, and support the organization or movement that help clean the ocean.

So now, let me invite you to enjoy the beauty of underwater world in Tanjung Putus, Lampung, Indonesia again.

Healthy corals and their dwellers are what we love to see..

You will see why we have to take care of all these precious creatures and environment. Not only for them, but also for own benefit and survival.

WW: Bali from Above and Beyond

Bali, Indonesia from above
Bali from Above

I have recently stumbled upon old photos from my phone and just realized I have almost 5000 photos taken in and around Bali!

The view you enjoyed from your airplane as you leave this beautiful island

Well, coming back and forth to this breathtaking island of the Gods and Goddesses does not stop me from taking pictures here and there even though I might visit the same spot in Bali. No wonder I have so many pictures of them and that's only in one of my phones LOL. Not to mention other footages I took with my DSLR or GoPro and others.

perfect blend of blue, green and teal

These one I took back in 2018, one of the business trips I had in Bali. I remembered staying in Kuta area for the meetings and strolling around in this never-sleep area (obviously before the pandemic) was joyous fun.

My recent trip to Bali also gave me the opportunity to capture more beauty Bali can endlessly offer. Lucky me, right! Here are some of the random photos I took while in Bali.

WW: Eid AL-Fitr is Coming!

Eid AL-Fitr is Coming!
Eid AL-Fitr is Coming!

The end of Ramadhan is near and we are preparing for Eif Al-Fitr.

Just like last year, we are still observing Ramadhan and celebrating Eid AL-Fitr, the victory day, in COVID -19 environment. As many of us have been vaccinated and with strict health protocol being observed, this year we will be able to actually pray in the mosque with physical distancing and mask on.

looking for some cute home accents in Alun - Alun Indonesia

This year, for the first time, insya Allah we will celebrate Eid Al-Fitr with my mom and my brothers in Jakarta. It was really a blessing as last year we celebrated it separately in Jakarta and Lampung, as we couldn't go home due to the extra restriction during the pandemic. This year is similar, but my brother manages to come to Jakarta and stays for a while.

Anyway, here's a little preparation we made before the Eid. We cleaned the house, rearranged things, cooked special food for Eid, and sent hampers to family and friends. It was always fun indeed!
