Nothing brings me more joy than going out to the sea and enjoy its beautiful underwater world. Well, although I don't always have the luxury of going diving with my club in Lampung, I always try to sneak a snorkelling trip whenever we visit Lampung.
We took our first trip in 2021 to Lampung on the second week of January.
The trip was quite smooth as it was no longer the holiday season.
Let's go to Taman Nemo, Pahawang Island, Lampung
During the weekend, we were back to the sea we love so much again. As we have tried many snorkelling spots around Lampung Bay, this time I ask my boatman to take us to different corner to see other places and hope for better, healthier corals with more fish, I know that pollution, climate change and crowded environment due to irresponsible tourism activities, have driven the fish away and killed many soft corals around the area.

I remember hopping on et off in the same place like 5-6 years a go and the fish is so abundant. That is why I hope we can still save this beautiful place on earth and preserve its amazing nature.

So long story short, after a 40-minute boat ride, we arrived at Taman Nemo, Pahawang Island, Lampung. It was the 9 of us that day so it was quite a crowd. As usual, we brought our own gear, food, drink and stuff we need. I brought my underwater camera and my hubby brought his drone. We definitely had so much fun with them!

Without further ado, my family and I started our snorkelling session and explored the area. It's good to see some corals and anemones are healthily intact on their natural habitat. But still I expect to see more fish although in reality we saw some but not too many. Nevertheless, I was happy to see big puffer fish, a school of angel fish, muray eel, clownfish et others. My boatman even saw a sea turtle. And the clear blue sky made the trip even more beautiful. Here are some photos I took during out trip.

Hello, everyone...
Hope December is treating us well. The last month of the year is here and ready or not, 2021 is soon coming. I still can't believe that a year just past. Just like that. Well, not really just like that because 2020 is indeed an unforgettable year for all of us! The pandemic surely has taught us a lot. And amidst the bleak episodes and huge adjustments we have to make, I am glad that the Almighty gives us strength and perseverance to go through the days. This too shall pass!
Last weekend we went to Lampung to visit our family and to tend some urgent matters. Happy to see my mom-in-law in good condition although we all are worried since her health is deteriorating in the last couple of years after Bapak, my father-in-law, passed away. She celebrated her 75th birthday days before so we had mini celebration as well at home. we travelled by land and enjoyed our brief trip to the island of Kelagian Besar.
This weekend we all are heading to Bali. The third trip to Bali for me this year. But this time is super special as I have the Frakarsas with me. we plan to celebrate Obi's 10th birthday and Udi's 45th birthday as well as our 16th anniversary in Nusa Dua and Ubud. Super excited indeed. Yaaaay.
Bali is calling
This is like a long overdue real break we have. I know you must be thinking why we make this trip during the pandemic. I have to admit I do feel anxious as well but judging from my previous trip, I believe we can start traveling again with super strict health protocol and discipline! Bismillahirrahmanirrahim .. hope all is well and wish us luck for this trip.

I was traveling to Lampung, my beloved homeland, together with my family last weekend. We had some urgent matters to handle and Alhamdulillah things were under control. We even managed to visit the ocean and the islands we love so much. This time, we visited Kelagian Besar Island, Lampung.

As we planned to catch the sunrise, we traveled in the afternoon and stayed there till the sun set. It was simply beautiful.

I know we are still living with the pandemics and huge adjustments are made but I believe we all can handle it as long as we strictly observe the health protocol.
Due to my works and some urgent family matters. I had to travel back and forth to Lampung again this week. We had issues with one of the banks back there and I had to appear before the court to continue the appeal. it's tiring, physically and mentally as well as financially as we spent a lot for traveling, but I guess we need to keep the process rolling and I just hope the process will soon be completed.
We stopped by at one of our favorite spots in Lampung as well. Yes, you got it right! We are back to Pahawang Island to check some stuff and of course to enjoy its beautiful underwater scenery. I am in love with my Hero 8 Black and I just can't stop making videos and taking photos with it LOL. I know that we had visited the surrounding areas 3 weeks ago but again with such amazing natural beauty, we just can't get enough!
