Walaupun menulisnya mudah, namun menjalani hidup sehat agar selalu sehat dan bahagia bukan tanpa tantangan. Sebagai seorang survivor kanker, saya dituntut untuk menjalani hidup sehat secara berkesinambungan. Selain untuk mencegah sel-sel kanker kembali bersarang di tubuh, saya juga harus pastikan bahwa 'makanan' kanker seperti gula dan stress bisa diminimalisir.
Since being diagnosed with breast cancer back in 2014, I have been striving to live a healthier life. Reducing stress, watching my diet and doing more exercises are on top of my priorities.
Not that easy though.
With the line of job that I have now, I really have to work on managing the stress level.
It's quite challenging, noting that the United Nations will always have all those surprises as you read on the headline news.
But one thing for sure, I am much more careful with what I eat.
Stress and sugar are deadly combination.
One thing I carefully work on is my diet. I have always love vegetables and fruits but this time around, I eat more veggies and fruits properly.
Food combining is one of the fun ways of staying healthy for me.

ReplyDeletebetul mba, kita udah tau gaya hidup sehat itu seperti apa, tapi kadang saya susaah banget menjalankannya. Hebat utk mba Widyanti yang sdh bisa menerapkan hidup sehat, pastinya Mba Indah juga sudah menerapkan gaya hidup sehat.
ReplyDeleteI had a colon cancer scare earlier this year and while I already eat healthy, I have definitely started paying even closer attention to what I put in my body. I haven't heard of food combining before, but will definitely look more into that.
ReplyDeleteIn the event that you simply need to have a bowl of grain, take a stab at blending it with one percent drain, fat free drain or yogurt. One percent drain and fat free drain still have all the vitamin D, potassium and calcium without the additional fat substance and without so much sodium. siciliano lil taste of italy
