Spring at Madison Square Park, NYC

Enjoying spring so far?
Just like me then.
I hope you won't have issues with pollen and allergies during this colorful season, so that you can enjoy it fully.

don't you just love it!

I went strolling around the Flatiron and Madison Square Park a few weeks ago.
I always love this area as it has beautiful park, Flatiron as one of the NYC landmark, and Eataly, one of my favorite stores and restaurants.
The Madison Square Garden itself is a public park located in Flatiron and NoMad area.
Officially opened as a public park in 1847, the Park dubbed its name from President James Madison, who was heading the US in 1814.

NoMad itself stands for North of Madison Square Park and it's quite self-explanatory.
Boosted with hip hang-out places, cool cafes and beautiful garden, this park is indeed one of my favorite as it's not that from my office.

Love the blooming flowers

This spring, this park is blooming with beautiful flowers and art works!
I truly enjoy lovely hydrangeas, hollies, redbuds, and more here.
Chirping birds singing happy songs make it even more magical.
Feels like strolling around the garden of eden!

We can also see Empire State Building, another landmark of the Big Apple, from different angles here.
I just love to experience with my phone and take pictures here and there.

And as you can see, it was a beautiful spring day.
Although the sky was not that blue, but the popping colors from the trees, potted plants and the surroundings really boost up my spirit!
Who wouldn't love those rose tulips coming in different shades.

And there, as you walk around the corner, you will see the Flatiron standing majestically.
I have taken pictures of Flatiron so many times, including Flatiron in Black and White posted before, but still it never fails to amaze me whenever I'm around.
So here's another shot of this cool architecture only for you, with grayish sky in the backdrop.
Looking at all this beautiful part of the world, I can't stop admiring My Lord for all His blessings and kindness.

Catamaran Cruise in Grenada

Again I was super lucky to have the opportunity to experience Pure Grenada.
As the Spice of the Caribbean, Grenada has a lot to offer.
For those who wants to know more about Grenada, check out Welcome to Grenada, the Spice of the Caribbean I posted before.

Therefore, after such an intense series of meetings we had with voting hanging on the air (good thing we managed to reach consensus!), we were super ecstatic when the Catamaran Cruise in Grenada was prepared for all of us.
Not only the sailing with music, food and drinks, but also the snorkeling.

This time, let me share a glimpse of the Catamaran sail that my friends and I took in Grenada, as the courtesy of the Government of Grenada for all the participants of the Seminar.

And right at 3 PM, when the sun was scorchingly hot, we sailed around the
We took the 'High Time', the fun boat which took us to the Bay where we had time chatting, enjoying the breeze and snorkeling at the Sculpture Garden.

Happy me, after snorkeling..
Along the way, we see the beauty of St. George's, the Capital city of Grenada.
Dotted with colorful houses and buildings, including forts and churches, St. George's looks beautiful indeed.

On our way back to the Port, we enjoyed beautiful sunset from the boat.
It was magical.
A perfect way to end our day and our hard works.
I held my tears as I whispered my thanks to the Almighty.
For every blessings He has bestowed upon me and my family all these years.

Spring in Blue

After months of bitter cold weather, we finally get to enjoy clear blue sky, sunshine, and beautifully blooming trees and flowers.
Spring is finally in the air.
These are some snaps I took this morning as I walked with my hubby and Obi to here school.
Such a glorious day indeed.

A Little Walk at Shibuya

Here are some snaps I took when I had a little walk at Shibuya, Tokyo, which is well-known for its super crowded yet neat crossings and Hachiko statue, the dog famous for its loyalty to its owner. I believe my kids will love to see this statue and hear more about the story of Hachiko.

Don't miss Shibuya when you are around Tokyo.
Very interesting to see this spot with its eclectic crowd.

Winter Blue Sky

“The world is big and I want to have a good look at it before it gets dark.”

                                                            John Muir

Winter blue sky is breathtaking.
And we were lucky that New York City got slightly warmer so we could enjoy the winter outside.
Off we went to Central Park West and here's what we enjoyed.
Hope you like it as much as we do!

The Frozen Pond

Winter is here to stay!
I hope you don't get bored with me saying it again and again for the last 3 months.
But things have been improving here in NYC, at least in the weather department.

After those series of bone-chilling-double-subzero-temperature days, NYC starts experiencing warmer days.
And we can comfortably go outdoorsy again.
Yipeee!

Just like many New Yorkers, we all went to Central Park.
Right at the exit of line N, we walked straight to the Pond and voila, it was still frozen.
Not the first we saw the frozen pond at Central Park but no matter how many times we have been here in different settings, seasons and weather, Central Park always mesmerizes us with its charms.
It's amazing to see the blue sky and the frozen pond, with the sky scrapper buildings at the background.

the apples of my eyes :)

We were just goofing around and taking tons of picture as always.
And it did feel good to go out again!
