I have to admit that Central Park is one of my favorite spots here in the Big Apple.
Well... Who wouldn't love Central Park?

One sunny day... |
Lines of green lush trees, climbing rocks for kids and adults to enjoy, squirrels running around carefreely and the charming landscapes are only a few perks you can enjoy in this New Yorkers' dearest spot. Not to mention several incredible museums you can visit and enjoy here, like American Museum of Natura History and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
The park is very accessible, too. Public transport is available on the West or East side of the park. I usually take subway line B and C for the West side and line 4,5, and 6 for the East Side. We can have the connection from Grand Central or Times Square. Check mta.com for the complete subway map and timetable. With some short extra walks, you will easily arrive here.
And autumn just simply makes everything looks even more and more beautiful. As ever.
Last year, during this time, I was so occupied with my chemotherapy. Frequent trips to the clinic, drastic changes in my physical appearances, heavily reduced mobility and lingering discomforts accompanied me as Fall besotted NYC last year. How I missed going out and enjoying the nature's beauty but I have to concentrate on my treatment at that time.
But hey... Here I am now.
Feeling much, much better than before. Happily finishing my procedures and treatments while trying to go back to my normal life.
And wonderful Fall is coming to town again. Rendering its magical feeling as red and gold hues painted the leaves and trees.
So, this autumn, I simply don't wanna miss the vibe.
And Central Park is on top of the list. For sure, it looks even more wonderful than ever. And blessfully, NYC is surprisingly warm.
We stroll around Central Park West, near the jogging track surrounding the Reservoir and around the Gothic Bridge. Here are some snaps I took with my iPhone in one lovely Saturday. Just before this beautiful fall slipping away.
You know how big Central Park is.
I have shared many parts of the Park here in this blog before, like the Mall and the pond as well as Bethesda Fountain.
We usually go the East side but this time we strolled around the West Part. And it is as beautiful as any part of the Park.

Spending some quality time with my loved ones is another blessing that I continue to be grateful for. It feels like a strong medicine for my heart and soul.

For sure, autumn is a special time for me and my family.
I hope you all have a great time as well during this beautiful season.
