Hello, everyone!

March is marching out as April is waiting around the corner.

March has been fun and busy for us, filled with culinary experiences, car free day, and more.

Festival Jajanan Bango 2019

I have been venturing in Festival Jajanan Bango 2019, a 2-day event held by Bango, one of Indonesian leading brands for sweet soy sauce, where many famous and popular Indonesian street food vendors and restaurants were gathered together in one place. 
We went here with my brother and my sister-in-law.

Sate Padang!

It was packed indeed!
And many of the food sold here are people's favorite!
No wonder we had long lines here and there.

Car Free Day 2019

Before that, we enjoyed Car Free Day in Sudirman - Senayan Area and had fun walking and jogging around this place. My kids came along and after walking around for about 1 hour, they complained as the weather got hotter and hotter.

Well, that's our weekend in Jakarta.

Have you guys heard or probably joined this event before?
Festival Jajanan Bango 2019 is the annual Festival held by Bango, one of Indonesia's leading brand for sweet soy sauce, which features traditional and popular Indonesian culinaries from different parts of the country. 

Welome to Festival Jajanan Bango 2019

It was certainly packed with food enthusiasts and those craving for Indonesian traditional food and those famous food outlets as well as hawkers. 

spent quite some time here.

There were around 83 vendors joining this event. Truly heaven for foodies like me LOL.

Hello, October..thank you, September!

Cheers from Jakarta :)

We have been enjoying Jakarta so far.
I haven't really taken my kids to our favorite places like the Old Town and the Museums but we have been enjoying more quality time as we unpack and open all those boxes from NYC.
As you know we have around 200 boxes and packages, including the big ones like furnitures and electronics, being sent to Jakarta. 
We have to wait around 7 weeks to get those things sailed from NYC.

It feels so nostalgic as my kids so excitedly got their book collections or favorite plush toys and pillows they love from the Big Apple.
Not to mention their game console  and all those games :).
We do miss NYC but at the same time we start feeling comfy here in Jakarta.
Hopefully our life in Jakarta will be as enjoyable as NYC and Geneve.
I'm pretty sure my kids will love it as much!
So far, we have been enjoying the top-notch Indonesian culinaries.
