Welcome back and hope everyone is enjoying brilliant days ahead.
Second week of July and allow me to say Happy 4th of July to all family and friends in the US who just celebrated the independence day. The celebration during this pandemic will certainly be adjusted but I guess the most important part of it is that we truly enjoy freedom, even in this unprecedented time.
I have many virtual meetings as usual. The office is 💯 percent work from home. The statistics show the horrible increase of COVID - 19 and Jakarta is pretty much the red zone. It is indeed the necessary measure to take in order to minimize the spread of the virus. The vaccination program is conducted rigorously and I hope we can soon cover more and more people.

We spend all of our time at home except when we briefly go out for buying some basic staples as well as drinking water and gas. We can buy it online of course but since the demand is increasing as well, I have to wait for days to buy groceries in my favorite supermarket! I have tried many online platforms as well and many are very handy. I really love to get my fresh veggies and fruits at all time. Well, I guess if you want to buy good stuff and get fast delivery, you have to pay extra. For temporary time, this is the safe way to avoid unnecessary contact with people. Do you shop online more as well lately? What do you usually buy?

ReplyDeleteWah iya 4 Juli kemarin ya ulang tahun negara Paman Sam ga kerasa sudah kelewat seminggu malah ga ingat pas tanggal 4 nya..heu...Sekarang kalau ga lihat medsos ga ingat tanggal dan hari deh hehe...
ReplyDeleteBelanja selama pandemi memang struggle banget. Kemarin2 aku masih belanja sendiri seminggu sekali. Skrg kondisinya luar biasa di daerahku jadi semua online termasuk air mineral & gas. Kalau belanja groceries online disini masih gak terlalu antri. Stay safez stay healthy ya mbak.

Idem mbak kami juga belanja groceriesnya online, soalnya masih belum berani keluar ke mana2 setelah kasus naik 2-3 kali lipat.
ReplyDeleteGpp tahan2in bosan dulu sampai kasusnya landai. Walau gak ngapa2in setidak2nya diam di rumah bisa membantu nakes mengatasi pagebluk ya
di musim pandemi ini, tinggal di rumah memang yang paling aman yaa, Mba. Apalagi sekarang keikan jumlah penderita semakin tinggi dari hari ke hari. semoga pandemi ini segera berakhir agar kita bisa beraktivitas seperti sedia kala
ReplyDeleteKalau di kota kecil masih bisa belanja sayuran di tukang sayur yang lewat. Belanja kebutuhan sehari-hari juga masih bisa di toko kelontong, mam. Memang tetap harus waspada sih. Belanja seperlunya aja, begitu dapet barangnya langsung pulang.
ReplyDeleteTapi aku ada juga belanja beras gitu via aplikasi yang jualin barang-barangnya UMKM. Harganya sama aja dengan toko kelontong, yawda untuk beras aku pilih beli di situ, juga beberapa kebutuhan pokok lainnya.

ReplyDeleteSetiap independence day US, aku selalu ingat diundang ke rumah dinas Kedubes AS di Taman Suropati. Di sana semua makanan US ada dari Coldstone, Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, sampe Jack Daniels, wkwkwkwk.

ReplyDeleteSemoga sehat selalu ya mbak. Di sini setiap hari ada berita duka walau penyebabnya tidak selalu karena covid. Sedih, ingin covid segera berakhir tapi kesadaran untuk vaksin & prokes saja masih banyak yang kurang. Di sisi lain WFH bisa ngasih banyak waktu untuk dekat dengan keluarga.
