Having fun at Legoland, Florida #1 (Photo Gallery)

"Everything is awesomeeee..."
"Everything is cool when you're part of the team ..
"Everything is awesomeeee...."

#singingmode ;).

Familiar with that song?
I guess most of us are ;). Especially if you, or your kids or other members of the family loves Lego.

My son, Bo, is a big fan. No wonder he has been wanting to come to Legoland for quite some times. And we are visiting one in Florida.

So here we are now at Florida, the capital of sunshine ;).
And we concur with it, as the sun warmly welcomes us in this city.

As originally planned, we will spend some time here at Florida hopping on et off some theme parks.

First destination is Legoland Florida.

welcome to Legoland Florida
Needless to say, you will have all sorts of great attractions inspired by characters of Lego.
For sure, it's the biggest Legoland in the world.
Some of the attractions include Lego the Movie, Duplo Valley, the Heart, World of Chima, Lego Kingdom, Lego City and Lego Technic.
Not to forget those roller coasters and other attractions for all ages :).
And of course, the Miniland... where you can see the miniatures of soooo many beautiful cities, including Florida, Washington D.C, and New York City :).

I will get back with more details about our visit for sure but let's check out some photos I snapped during our visit to this theme park.

Charleston, South Carolina #1 (photo gallery)

Oh, Charleston...

Truly a southern charm..

So we managed to visit this beautiful city. Rich in cultures and history, our visit in this city is really rewarding.

After a half day at Myrtle Beach, we went straight to the hotel in Charleston. Both cities are in South Carolina, but it took around 2 hours drive from Myrtle Beach to Charleston.

We booked our stay in La Quinta Inn and Suites Riverview by the Ashley river. We had to wait quite some time before the room was ready but other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

We even get the complimentary shuttle to  the historical part of the city at the night we arrived and Bo, Obi and I explored the French Quarter in Charleston.

The next day, we continued our historical walk tour, visited the Boone Hall Plantation, and the Angel Oak Tree.

We had sooo much fun and learned a lot from every single visit we made.

I will get back with more stories and details. Meanwhile, here are some of the photos we had from this beautiful city, Charleston.

Well... Just some of them first ;).

All photos are taken with iPhone 6 plus and as I post most of my blogposts from my phone, it really helps a lot to have all those photo albums at the same device.

I haven't got a chance to transfer the photos from my DSLR, but I will definitely do that after our roadtrip ;). Oh, yes I will :).

So, what do you think of Charleston?
Isn't it gorgeous?

A Stroll at Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

cheers from Myrtle Beach :)

And here we areee ;).
Arriving safely (but tired) at the first stop of our #roadtrip in #summer2015.

Originally we wanted to stop at Baltimore, but it was still in the middle of the night so we continued driving to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

As I posted in my previous post, we started our trip Firday night from Astoria at 11 PM. Well, we went to the office first to get Obi's seat booster in our car which is temporarily parked in the office's garage. Once we got it set, we were ready to rumble.

And the first stop is Myrtle Beach.
Beautifully located by the Atlantic Ocean, Myrtle Beach is a lovely beach in South Carolina with white and powdery sand, lines of resturants, great hotels and many other attractions.

Obi and I at the beach :)

It should only took us around 10 hours drive from NYC, but as we stopped at least twice for food and rest, we arrived at the beach at noon.

the rest area ...so greeny :)

mukanya capeeek ya...tired face but super happy :)

The first thing I do was take my sandals off, get in the water and feel the ocean ;). It felt good indeed.

Then as we were heading to Charleston, we decided to have a nice stroll here before we had lunch.

The beach was not so packed with people, so we could enjoy the beach and took pictures here and there ;).

let's enjoy the beach :)

abaikan kuku yang jeleeek hehehehe

The when hunger stroked, we determinantly headed to Hard Rock Cafe here at Celebrity Circle.

As I have previously posted, I'm a collector of Hard Rock Cafe memorabilia as well as a big fan of their cafetaria. So, lunch was super delicious, as I have caesar salad with grilled salmon. Yuuuum...

Hungry faces :)

Ceasar Salad at Hard Rock Cafe Myrtle Beach

Near the Cafe, there are several attractions as well, including Ripley's aquarium and science center. It looks great although we didn't stop at that time.

Next stop is Charleston :).
We just can't wait to see what this beautiful city offers.
Southern charm... That is.
We had 2 more hours drive from Myrtle Beach and we just, again, couldn't wait.

See you in Charleston :).

Let the road trip begin :)

Alriteeee...

We finally got our annual leave ;).
Alhamdulillaaah..

And as I have mentioned before, we are planning to have a road trip to the southeastern part of the US.

Starting point: Astoria, New York City
Final destination: Key Largo, Florida.

Transit cities: Baltimore, Myrtle Beach, Charleston, Orlando, Miami, Key Largo, Daytona Beach and Savannah :).

Oooh my... Sounds like a very ambitious plan.
It is .. Actually.
We will go through several states, starting from New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and finally Florida. Now that's
8 states already ;).

But we have 10 days on the road and we sincerely hope everything runs well. Everyone gets supeeer excited for sure.

Indeed big trip like this need a lot of preparation. And even when planning the trip, we argued and changed several times. I insist on having as many beaches as possible for snorkeling and diving sessions, while the kids want to go to those theme parks. Even which theme parks to visit take a couple days to decide (although I know what I want ;)). Udi wants to see cool spots for photography and nice hotels to sleep in. Let alone the routes and the driving schedule. Sooo many things to consider.

To begin with, choose your destination(s).
Surely this is the first thing we have to decide. At least in my case ;).
The list I have above is the result of family diacussion and meticulous planning. Carefully considering our days, energy (as well as mood ;)), points of interests and budget, we decided to go to those cities. Originally we included Tampa but Key Largo really lures me in with its white sandy beaches and snorkeling spots  :).

Then, we get to the accommodation.
One condition from Bo et Obi is the pool ;). While Udi wants me to ensure that we won't have problems parking our car. As for me, HSIA is a must and the rest should be managable.

The hotels we've booked for the trip vary, but mostly they have all the facilities we love to have above. Some were booked through booking.com while some were directly booked in those chained hotels.

How about the car? Food and beverages? And the plan? Where to go? What to see? The best photography spots? Best local restaurants? Souvenirs?

Well, well..
The list ia not exhaustive for sure and will definitely share some more insights later. What about you? How do you plan your vacation?

ASUS ZenPower Quick Charge Power Bank

#I was facilitated by ASUS to write this post, but all opinion expressed are my own and not influenced by anyway.

quick charge power bank

Trying to stay connected all the time?
Taking pictures with your phone?
Checking emails and responding to all those communication platforms like Whatsapp groups and other social media platforms?
Updating status and uploading pictures (again and again) ?

Yuuup, that's me :).
Guilty as charged.

Keeping your smartphone on most of the time is what you need then.

running out of battery while going shopping and checking online price? not any more..thanks to Asus ZenPower :)

Me, too..

With the work I am covering now, I have to spend most of my time in the meetings
And there are times when keeping the phone on and staying connected is non-negotiable :).

With that in mind, I have to make sure that I have a great, dependable power bank ready.
A handy one.
A powerful one.

And I finally have one..
Yaaaay..

Introducing ASUS ZenPower 10050 mAh, super powerbank that surely cover my needs.
Not just power bank, but a quick charge power bank!

With 10050 mAh, I sure have enough power to charge my gadgets. Speaking of which, I usually carry at least 2 phones /tablet with me. So ASUS ZenPower is perfect for me.
It charges iPhone 6 plus that I use in relatively shorter time than other power bank that I have. with 10% left, I need only less than 2 hours to charge it back to full.
And that's because it has the full power of 10050mAh.

Another thing that I notice while using ASUS ZenPower is that it stays cool during the charging. It's not the case with other power banks I have as they tend to be warm or even hot when they are used for charging.

Coming in different colors, including sheer gold (like mine ;)), ASUS ZenPower is surely a sleek and funky! Again, perfect for me who loves colors :).

photo is taken from here

Another thing I love from this power bank is that it only weight 215g and it comes in credit card size. Surely won't make my bag too full or too heavy.

With high capacity, quick charging mode, slim size, and state-of-the-art design and colors, ASUS ZenPower is the perfect choice.

no need to worry exploring Times Square and taking pictures all the time :)

So, now, I don't have to worry about running out of the battery while doing the things I love most, including traveling, strolling around the city, and shopping :).

Make sure you got ASUS ZenPower Quick Charge Power Bank in your bag :)

WW: Tirta Gangga Water Palace, Bali

Summer break is here...
Yaaaaaay :)..
While waiting for our real summer break, I looked at my external hard disk and came up with these photos. Our last summer in Bali!

That was the first time we all went to Tirta Gangga Water Palace in Bali.
And what a place it was...

Truly the water palace fits for kings and queens :)
No wonder we took pictures all the time...

Tell me what you think about this place :).

Pennsylvania State Capitol Building at Night

Pennsylvania State Capitol Building at night is indeed beautiful...

Harrisburg, the capital of Pennsylvania.
Have you been to this city?
Where the US Declaration of Independence and the Constitution were drafted?

Pennsylvania State Capitol Building

Well, after some times (more than a month, I guess >_<), I manage to write and post something about our trip tp Pennsylvania. Works have been crazy lately, even when we are supposed to have our summer break :).

So, a couple days off and two kids, we decided to go to the theme park.
One of the big ones near NYC is Hershey Park.
And as I have shared before here in this blog, I was taking a trip to Managua, Nicaragua for an official visit. And Bo et Obi were enjoying their break.
So, without further a do, that morning, I searched and booked for the hotel, got everything ready, and packed for a two-day adventure in Pennsylvania :).
It might sound crazy but we managed to have quite an adventure.

Destinations: Harrisburg and Hershey's Park.
How exciting :).
Even I couldn't stop smiling on our way there :).

As we headed to Pennsylvania rather late from NYC, we arrived in Harrisburg in the afternoon.

It took around 4-hour drive from NYC. Getting out of Manhattan was an extra hour :).
But we just enjoyed the trip and made stops whenever we needed.

So, long story short, we arrived in Harrisburg at around 1 PM but the kids wanted to swim first. So, off we went enjoying cool water at the hotel and decided to see the city for dinner.

Just before dinner, we stopped at the State Capitol Building...

It was full moon and simply beautiful...

We missed all those details from this amazing beaux-arts state of the art and my hubby and I decided to return to this beautiful city again soon, to have a proper visit and historic tour.
So many things to see and to d in Harrisburg, the capital of Pennsylvania, but our visit was to take the kids to the Hershey's Park :).

Do you wanna hear more story about this great theme park?
I'll be back :)

But meanwhile, let's enjoy Pennsylvania State Capitol Building at night :).

Do you like visiting historical city as well?

And I am one of those birds...
Chained my heart to the boundless sky..
Whispering words from its corner ...
Where my homeland resides..
