Beauty - Meet Kendall Jenner, the New Face of Estee Lauder
The freshest face of Estee Lauder for Modern Muse, Le Rogue
It was indeed my lucky day.
I met my lovely friends, went to Macy's, got to my favorite corner, Estee Lauder and found out that Kendall Jenner was in town. Well, in fact.. She was in Macy's, to promote the newest line in Estee Lauder's perfume, Modern Muse, Le Rogue.
And long story short, I bought the perfume, got one of the 120 special passes given to the Estee Lauder esteemed clients, and voilaaa...

wanna meet Kendall?
I personally have been an avid lover of Estee Lauder's products. And loving them ;). At least I have its compact powder, Kendall Jenner series' lipstick, Little Black Liner and the soft kohl pencil.

some of my favorite lines :)
I have been a big fan particularly as Estee Lauder is one fo the companies fully supporting the Breast Cancer Awareness Raising campaign :). I can't wait to see what they have for the Pinktober and this year's breast cancer awareness raising campaign :).
Way to go, Estee :)

Under One Sky - the 70th Session of the United Nations
This week, New York City will welcome hundreds of Heads of States and Governments from different corners of the world, including my country, Indonesia.
The 70th Session of the United Nations General Assembly has started.
Together with the Special Summit for the Adoption of the Post-2015 Development Agenda.
Starting from the 25th of September, we witnessed prominent persons including the Pope himself, His Holiness Pope Francis, Malala, some famous philanthropists like Bill and Melinda Gates, Shakira and many more.
Of all this glam and famous celebrities, all these high-level events entail endless preparation and sleepless nights ;).
Never forget...VVIPs require VVIPs treatment :).
Never forget...VVIPs require VVIPs treatment :).
Well, it's part of my work so I got used to it.
Even during my time in Geneva I have to prepare those high-level visits as well.
Even during my time in Geneva I have to prepare those high-level visits as well.
Not easy.
Detailed preparation.
Detailed preparation.
And stressful.
But one thing for sure... Amidts my never ending tasks, I always try to sit down and take some pictures.
It really takes my mind off things.
At least for a while.
When I do have time, I'd rather get out of the meeting rooms and sit outside.
Feel the breeze from East River and the sun touching my skin in the Rose Garden :).
Relieving...

Relieving...
This time, I am particularly looking at the blue sky.
And say my prayers...
Hopefully all these works that we are doing here will benefit everyone in this world.
Change the world into a better place.
As we all live under the same sky.

Selamat Hari Raya Idul Adha
It's been crazy for the last three weeks...
With the high-level visit from our Speaker of the Parliament and his group, we are now welcoming our Vice President and his team.
And they are here since the 23rd of October, so we celebrate Idul Adha together with them.
So we were at Masjid Al-Hikmah early in the morning, preparing the arrival of the dignitaries.
Alhamdulillaaah.. Everything went smoothly.

Sasikirana, Anniesa Hasibuan's Masterpice for New YorkCouture Fashion Week
Adalah seorang Anniesa Hasibuan..
Muda, cantik, menyenangkan dan penuh kreativitas..
Yang menggebrak panggung New York Couture Fashion Week 2015 dengan koleksi adi busana yang mengundang decak kagum dari mereka yang menonton pagelaran fashion tahunan yang dinanti-nanti warga New York ini.
I was so lucky to get a chance to meet this talented young lady. I regretfully missed her fantastic show during the New York Couture Fashion Week at the Crowne Plaza, but then it was all paid off as I joined the Trunk Show at the Consulate General of Indonesia in New York.
I was the MC of the show, so I got the opportunity to get up close to her and admire her work.
And I was speechless..
The moment I got to see her brilliant works I knew she indeed has magical hands.
Look at those gorgeous dresses...
Anniesa Hasibuan..
Under her label, Anniesa Fashion, this 28 year-old lovely lady brilliantly transformed the mytical world of queens, princess and royals into intricate, one-of-a-kind glamourous dresses. As Anniesa is wearing hijab, all these dresses are inspired for those wearing hijab as well.
A beyond-this-world mixture of embroidery, lace, silk, Swarovsky crystals, premium fabrics and tons of creativity and imagination et voilaaa.... incredible dresses are ready for those who admire the couture collection.
Sasikirana is her special collection for New York Couture Fashion Week 2015.
Sasi means terang, or light
While Kirana means bulan, or the moon.
Sasikirana... Moonlight....
15 amazing dresses were displayed during the New York Couture Fashion Week. Gold and black dominated Sasikirana collection, with Prada fabric, the traditional materials from Java.
After seeing her works, no wonder she got the new nickname, Oscar de la Renta from Indonesia, given by Daniel Cole, one of the prominent lecturers at the New York University and Fashion Institute and Technology in New York City.
And I can't agree more.
I personally think Anniesa has much more potential in her next future.
Anniesa has stolen the audience' s attention during her show here in New York, as well as during London Fashion Week and Hello Indonesia at Trafalgar Square, London as well.
And again I am lucky to get a chance to know and meet her personally behind the stage ;).

all the best, Anniesaaaa :)
I just can't wait to welcome her back to NYC with more extravaganza works.
Keep up the briliant work, Anniesa.

More and more pictures ;).

My Little Obi...
Voilaaa....
Senyum imutnya menyambut saya...
Ini foto Obi saat berusia 1 tahun..
Beberapa bulan setelah kepulangan kami dari Jenewa, Swiss.
I guess we went to Mutun Beach in Lampung where we took all there photos :)
And I think I haven't put it here before :)...
I just love to see her expressions..
And you know what?
She pretty much looks like her mom and her brother Bo hehehehe..
This is me when I was around her age :)
and this is Bo, her big brother :)
What do you think?
Don't we all look alike :)
Do you have the same case as well in your family :)?
