Wonderful Wednesday with My Purple World, Oh My Heartsie Girls and Friends

The rain keeps pouring down and I know I should be grateful for that.
But as my training started, commuting during the rainy season can be tricky.
Oh...and my training classes are starting already.
And all the excitement of joining a class with some new people for intensive meetings in the course of 3 months.
I sincerely hope I can gain a lot of benefit for my self-development as well as my career.
One thing for sure, I gotta do a-lot of writing, analysis, and social media feed for this training.

Back to school!

Meanwhile, our cat, Kiki, is getting sick.
We really feel bad about him 😥.
Bad weather as well as the age factor pretty much caused this problem.
He had his blood checked and we are waiting for the results.
I hope he will be okay pretty soon.

Other than that, everyone is happy and healthy 😇.
Oh .. we can’t wait to go back home to Lampung for my sister-in-law marriage.
It will be at the third week of February. Hope all is well and they are gearing up with all the preparation.

WW: Market Day at Muhammadiyah Elementary School

It’s the Market Day!

We had a lovely market day at my daughter’s school and we got super excited.
The event is annually held and the kids were basically tasked to plan and execute a marketing strategy so that they could sell products of their choice. So my kid and her friends decided to sell various snacks (obviously their favorites) and some cute stationeries.

The event started jn the morning and the kids, help by their parents, set up their tables and booth with balloons, ribbons, and colorful brick -a - brack. They had choco balls, UHT milk, biscuits, puddings, chips, and some pencils as well as brooches.

The kids also decided the price and as the school assigned the kids to sale products less than Rp10.000,-, they had everything under Rp10.000,-
They also designated those who would be the sellers,cashiers, and promoters.
We were so proud to see the way they canvassed their ideas and plans as well as sharing the tasks among themselves. Considering they are still 9-10 years old, I was so proud to see how excited and well organized the kids are.

And Alhamdulillaaaah the market day went well.

They sold almost all their stuff and the most important part is that they were happy!

They had so much fun and they learned about entrepreneurship.

And the mothers were having fun as well!

Wonderful Wednesday with My Purple World, Oh My Heartsie Girls and Friends

Wishing you all a wonderful week, wherever you are.

It has been a busy week for me and my family. Business as usual, I may say.

Although I wanted to have a little off-beaten track once in a while.

I really need to relax :)

We've been busing with trip to my doctors as well as the preparation of my exam and my kids'. Yes, I will soon go back on classes for the final phase of my diplomatic training. It will be an exciting time indeed but sometimes I feel like I'm just too old to go through all those tests, interviews and daily tasks again LOL. Well, we definitely need to take some times off for our own self-development and that's exactly what I'm planning to do now. Some of the classes given will be intense and non-stop but hey, I'm up for the challenge. Wish me luck!

We were tending our sick cat (poor old Kiki :( ) and paying a condolence visit to our dear colleague who grieved for the passing of her beloved sister. But in one lovely Saturday we also cooked together with my boy and his friends as the preparation for the cooking exercise at school. Looks like they're really having fun preparing that beef teriyaki :). It's always fun to see the boys cooking, I don't know why.

Meanwhile, in our region and I think at the global level, we are witnessing the unfolding horror caused by Corona virus, originally detected in Wuhan, China. We have seen similar spread like SARS and MERS and eventually there will be cures to properly address this situation. But again, never underestimate the outbreak. I will curb down my traveling abroad as well as carefully see the destination as well as the transit countries. The virus has reached 18 countries so far and god knows how far it will travel. So be alert, prevent it by taking simple actions such as washing your hands properly, using mask, consuming well balance diet, exercising and ensuring you have enough rest. We should be careful in making contacts with animals and do not eat undercooked meat.

Well, sounds like a colorful week and hopefully we will have more enjoyable ones in the nearest future. Stay healthy for always!
