Gubuk Makan Mang Engking Lembang

Welcome back and let's share more culinary experience that The Frakarsas, - my family and I -, continue to enjoy during our travel and journey.

And one of them is Gubuk Makan Mang Engking Lembang

We came here after exploring De Ranch as well as Orchid Forest Cikole, an area near Bandung, West Java. Gubuk Makan Mang Engking is a lovely restaurant using the concept of ‘saung’ or traditional hut built on top of fish pond.

The space is spacious and food is delicious! 

We have been a big fan of Sundanese food because they are tasty, very filling, and easily found when you are traveling around Indonesia. Gubuk Makan Mang Engking is the perfect one to enjoy those food. Here, we ordered gurame bakar or grilled fish, sayur asem (sweet and sour vegetable soup with distinct tamarind flavor), karedok leunca (fresh vegetables salad with peanut sauce), fried tempe,- Indonesian famous soy bean cake, and tofu, as well as fried calamari and hot tea. It was indeed delicious and I can say that all of them are our favorites!

The service is fast and friendly. We spent Ro 320.000,- or around $25 for all the food above for 4 of us. We really enjoyed our time there, exploring Indonesian traditional food while enjoying quality time with the family and for sure, relaxing environment. 

One more thing, parking area is big and toilets are clean, so you don't have to be worry!

Highly recommended indeed for you who like to enjoy wonderful food, fresh air and family - friendly atmosphere.
