Welcoming August with My Purple World and Wonderful Wednesday

Welcome, August.

This month is my month, as my birthday is coming. Well, I know I will continue my journey in the 40s this year and for sure I'm excited to be enjoying life at this point, with all its ups and downs.

Speaking of life, things have been a bit blurry for my sometimes. Maybe because I have so many things going on and sometimes I just have to quickly make decisions which one the priorities. Not always that easy, considering that most of the decision I made have consequences. Well, I guess we all are confronted by similar situation here. So, hopefully you all will always have the best way of running your life and letting everything fall to its beautiful places. How about you? Do you take and consider a lot of factors before making decisions? What will be the toughest or the hardest decisions you have made so far? How do you take that decision? Any regrets?

Anyway, I have been digging on my external hard disk and phone memories again. Really, If I have all the time in the world, I would probably do that 24/7 and start editing all those lovely, memorable photos and videos. Well, apparently I am not that lucky LOL.

Nevertheless, when I have same spare time or in-between, I am taking the liberty to enjoy this pastime. Check out my videos in my YouTube Channel as I have put many new ones, especially those from long-awaited trip to Havana, Cuba. I love seeing those clips again.

For next week, we will have my son's 2nd shot and this time, my mom and my little brother will take him. I am still in quarantine mode until next week, as I am now entering the first 8 days of my quarantine. I feel way much better now, especially in the cough department. Frankly speaking, this cough is super annoying and since the very beginning, I can tell that this cough is not the same as previous ones I have  endured before. The fact that I cannot inhale fully and how itchy it was also scared me. Good things we, my husband and I, got the treatment right away and less than a week things are getting better again. My hubby still suffer anoxia but hopefully he will soon recover as well.  Wish us luck, please!  This somehow reminds me that I will celebrate my birthday with my hubby only.. or with the kids but from different floor in the house. Well, there will always be the first thing for everything, right! Keep the spirit high and always remember to be grateful! Sty safe, happy and healthy, everyone!

Wonderful Wednesday with My Purple World, Oh My Heartsie Girls and Friends

July is approaching its ends and how I feel like I was racing with time! 

For sure this is the race I will not win but I'm fine with that. I just go with the flow and although I have so many things to finish before October, but I am optimistic things will be settled on time. So, as I mentioned last week in my previous post, we have received notification of the next place that will be assigned to me and my family. I guess I still haven't revealed where exactly is my next post but for sure I am super excited. 

Now we are so rushed in packing things up. It is always the exciting yet tiring time but after moving around 3 times, I guess we can do it quicker now. Perhaps, we will not bring the big items to the new country and stick to air cargo. The biggest home work we have is ensuring our home in Jakarta is ready to be rented. We might need to sell some items and keep the rest. Well, hang in there! It will be tiring and crazy but I bet I can manage that.

Wonderful Wednesday with My Purple World, Oh My Heartsie Girls, and Friends

Welcome back!

Wonderful Wednesday with My Purple World, Oh My Heartsie Girls, and Friends is here again and I am super excited!

First of all, Happy (belated) Eid al-Adha to all my sisters and brothers who celebrate it! I sincerely hope you have a wonderful time with your loved one. We sent our kurban to Lampung and may Allah SWT always bestow us with His endless blessing, protection and patience.

Eid Al-Adha Mubarak, dear friends.

It has been an exciting week actually, filled with various news and updates. 

Some are sad, regarding the passing of my dear friends, family members and colleagues from the office as well as the communities where I was part of. It is indeed devastating to hear this. Some of them passed away due to COVID-29, but some are because of the natural cause. Innalillahi rainnailaihi rojiuuun... we belong to Allah and to Allah do we return. That is why we have to remain vigilant towards our fight against COVID-19. Please, please, please... observe the health protocol although many of us already got vaccinated. Wearing mask and maintaining physical distance  won't do any harm and it gives us extra protection as well. I have got my vaccine twice and still I got infected, although it was with mild symptoms. So again, please take care, everyone!

Fortunately, the Almighty has given us so many incredible blessings. After the solemn celebration of Eid-al Adha, we celebrated it at home with my mom and my niece. Video call with my mom-in -law and families in Lampung, we say grace to all the blessings bestowed to us.

I have received many wonderful news as well. We will be soon moving to a new country! The next assignment is coming and I thought we will have until the end of 2021 before having the red letter telling us to get ready for the next assignment. The voilaaa.. they want me to go this October. Can you guess where my family and I will go soon? just wait for it LOL. Will let you know soon, okay. One thing for sure, I will definitely have to start packing and packing and rearranging and planning for every single thing I need to do. Wish us luck!
