Wonderful Wednesday with My Purple World, Oh mY Heartsie Girls and Friends

Cheers from all of us!
Ramadan is over, Eid al-Fitri is celebrated, so now time to go back to our routine with refreshed and energised spirits!

I had gone back to Jakarta earlier as I need to come to the office on Monday morning, while my hubby and the kids still enjoy their prolonged vacation in Lampung. Besides, mudik balik or the return trip from Lampung to Jakarta was horrible, as thousands or even millions of mudikers were doing it at the same time. I shared our mudik photos and stories here: WW: Mudik - Going Back Home for Lebaran

It was packed!
I flew by Garuda Indonesia to Jakarta so it was not that problematic, but as my hubby drove our car with our kids, the trip was a bit more complicated and long.
On the way to Bakauheni...

As predicted, even a week after the peak of mudik, the trip was still longer than normal. My hubby spent around 2 hours just for waiting for the ferry. The trip with the ferry itself took around 2.5 hours, while normally it's 1 - 1.5 hours. I guess I can share it on the next post.

A Wonderful Eid!

Eid Mubarak from all of us
It's the time to enjoy  solemn and blessed days with our loved ones and may Ramadan bring the best of us for the next 11 months ahead.

Here are some snaps for this joyous day.

We started it with sholat Eid al-Fitr at Al-Falah Mosque near our house in Lampung.

the male section at the mosque..

my daughter Obi and I...

Then we visited our neighbors as well as visited our loved ones who have passed away. Al-Fatihah for all of them.

My dearest papah..

at my father-in-law's grave..

My dearest Grandma or nenek..

Then what's next?
Visiting one family gathering to another, eating all those yummy food and doing our traditional saweram, or giving money to our nieces and nephews.
It was fun & hilarious!

Then on the 3rd day, we went to the island!
