One amazing fact about my Wonderful Indonesia is its amazing collections of traditional fabrics.

And I am totally falling in love to each and every one of them ;D>....

Let's peep my cherished colorful heritage through some of my private collection, shall we ..


My blue-and-purple 'Songket' (traditional hand-woven fabrics) Bali and turquoise-fuschia Songket Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara....

My 'Tenun Ikat' or traditional woveb fabrics from Atambua and Insana, North Nusa Tenggara...
My purple Balinese Songket or hand-woven fabrics made of gold and colorful threads :D>..


My Ulap Doyo bag, traditional woven fabrics from East Kalimantan..faithfully accompanying me in GE :)

Lampungnese Traditional patterns of  'Siger' (Lampungnese head piece) and elephants playing football :D..

    1. True...I also love all those brights colors...but some of my ancient collections are dominated by earthy colors...not so flashy, but still elegantly beautiful :D..

  3. Those are some beautiful fabrics! My Step Grandma was from the Philippines. She always had some pretty clothes. I just remember the fabrics.
